Aftercare

Looking after your pet afterwards

I talk through aftercare with you in the same conversation as the visit, so you do not have to arrange anything separately or alone.

Private cremation

Your pet is cremated on their own, and their ashes are returned to you. Many families keep them at home or scatter them somewhere meaningful.

Community cremation

Your pet is cremated together with other animals, and ashes are not returned. It is a respectful option for families who do not want to keep ashes.

Home burial

If you choose to keep your pet with you, home burial may be an option where permitted. You will be responsible for arranging the burial and ensuring it complies with any relevant local requirements.

How it works

When we speak, I will explain each option and answer your questions. There is no right choice. It is whatever feels right for you and your family. If you are not sure yet, we can decide on the day.

Cremation is carried out by a third-party provider, and it is separate from my visit. Because of that, I am not responsible for the cremation service itself. Call or text me and I will explain how it works and what to expect.
