Do you provide at-home euthanasia for both dogs and cats?
Yes. I provide compassionate at-home euthanasia for both dogs and cats throughout the Central Coast NSW.
Are after-hours and weekend appointments available?
Yes. I offer after-hours and weekend appointments where possible. I understand that the need to say goodbye doesn't always happen during normal business hours. Please call or text me, and I'll do my best to accommodate you and your pet.
Can I be with my pet?
Absolutely. You're welcome to stay with your pet throughout the entire appointment, and family members can be present too. If you would prefer not to be there for the final moments, that is completely okay! I will make sure your pet is comfortable, calm and treated with care throughout.
Will my pet feel any pain?
No. I first give a sedative so your pet falls into a deep, relaxed sleep. Only once they are fully asleep do I give the final injection, which is quick and painless.
How long does the visit take?
There is no set time. I allow enough for you to say goodbye without watching the clock. The injections themselves take only a few minutes.
How do I know when it is the right time?
It is one of the hardest questions, and I am happy to talk it through with you, with no obligations. We can assess your pet's quality of life and discuss options
What are the aftercare options?
Private cremation with ashes returned, community cremation, or home burial. If you choose to keep your pet with you, home burial may be an option where permitted. You will be responsible for arranging the burial and ensuring it complies with any relevant local requirements. We talk it through in the same conversation, so it is settled before the visit.
Who provides the cremation?
If you choose cremation, I can arrange the aftercare for you so you don't need to organise this yourself. Cremation is carried out by a trusted third-party aftercare provider that I work with. I'll discuss the available options with you and explain what to expect when we speak.
How much does it cost?
